Microsoft documents the license setups (also known as SKUs) on their documentation website, but they're not in a central location. Below is a list of all the sources used identify which apps remain colored when you've filtered for a certain license.
This includes Business Essentials, Business, Business Premium, Enterprise E1, Enterprise E3, Enterprise E5, and Enterprise F1:
- Services (including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Skype for Business Online, Office Online, Project Online, Power BI, Yammer Enterprise)
- Features (including Bookings, Flow, Forms, MyAnalytics, Planner, PowerApps, StaffHub, Stream, Sway, Teams, Delve, Video, Groups)
This includes Education A1, Education A3, and Education A5: services and features.
This includes US Government G1, US Government G3, US Government G5, US Government F1: services and features: services and features.
Due to the information security differences between the government community cloud (GCC), GCC High, and DoD data centers, some services and features may be available in GCC, but not in GCC High or DoD (for example). This is not currently displayed in the Periodic Table. If a feature or service is not yet available in all data centers, the feature or service is not displayed as available at all in the Table. This is the down side to using a simplistic graphical representation of a very nuanced product. We are looking at ways to make this more clear in the future. Thank you for your patience.
Microsoft To-Do, formerly Wunderlist (before it was acquired), is available for these Office 365 licenses.
Microsoft Visio is a premium product and must be purchased as an add-on to your Office 365 license.
While MyAnalytics is included in various SKU-specific pages listed above, there's also a MyAnalytics-specific license listing.
Office Lens is available for free as a mobile app for iOS and Android. While an Office 365 license isn't required to use Office Lens, the integrations with OneDrive, Office Online apps, and Outlook email does require a license.
Microsoft makes changes to Office 365 services, licensing, and availability all the time. Our filter is our best representation of the licensing options at the time we publish updates. If you notice that a licensing option is incorrect, outdated, or missing, please contact us to let us know. We're not trying to provide inaccurate information; it's just hard to keep up with an ever-changing ecosystem. Use of our filter is at your discretion and any information provided is considered as-is. Do not use our licensing filter as a deciding factor in making purchases, changing subscriptions, or any other change in your system. Our filter is intended for planning purposes. Contact your Microsoft account representative for any questions pertaining to your current subscription or a future subscription.
