In general, you are allowed to reuse the Periodic Table for free presuming you comply with the following licensing requirements. In most cases, you will be required to embed or display the Table in its native web app format. We do not provide source files or high-resolution image versions of the Table.
For internal training
We love it when organizations use the Table to help their employees learn more about Office 365!
You may use the Table for free in your intranet as long as you embed the Table. For issues with embedding in SharePoint or SharePoint Online, please contact your administrator to add our domain to your list of approved domains.
You may use a screenshot of the Table for free in printed materials as long as 1) the materials remain internal; 2) the jumpto365 logo under the title is retained (i.e., do not erase it from the screenshot); and 3) the following URL is displayed prominently near the graphic for the reader's reference: https://jumpto365.com.
Note: You may not use screenshots or old PNG/JPG copies of the Table in intranets or any interface that supports the ability for a user to interact. For one, we want to ensure the viewer can browse and click through the Table and its various features. But most importantly, an embedded copy will always be up to date whereas a screenshot or image file will definitely fall victim to the ever-changing nature of Office 365.
For presentations and webinars
We love seeing the Table being presented, whether at internal training sessions, online webinars, or world-class conferences! If you use the Table in a class or conference setting, tweet a photo to @jumpto365 on Twitter. We enjoy sharing your success to inspire others.
For presentations and slideshows, we recommend including a link to the Table in your slide so it loads the most up-to-date version (rather than depending on a potentially outdated screenshot). That said, we understand internet access during events like these can be shoddy, so we allow the use of a screenshot of the Table as long as you include 1) the jumpto365 logo under the title (i.e., do not erase it from the screenshot); and 2) the following URL displayed prominently on the slide or printout for viewers' reference: https://jumpto365.com. If you're reusing slides from a previous event, you are required to check the current Table online to ensure the version you have is accurate. When sharing slides after the event, please replace any graphics with a direct link to the table so no matter when someone accesses your slides, they will always get the current version of the Table.
Due to the nature of the beast that is Office 365, things change frequently. We recommend always presenting the Table in its native format (the web app at jumpto365.com).
For (non-commercial) blogs and online publications
You are free to use the Table for free in your online writings. You are expected to embed the Table in your post or article. For those platforms that do not support embedding (e.g., LinkedIn articles, Medium), please consider using a generic graphic that includes a hyperlink to the Table. See this article as an example. Static (image) representations of the Table in your publications are prohibited.
For marketing your services
If you're looking to use the Table on your company's public- or customer-facing website in a marketing, training, or support fashion, you must embed the Table in that webpage. Static (image) representations of the Table on public websites are prohibited.
For printed publications
To include the Table in a printed publication including, but not limited to, articles, books, pamphlets, and flyers, please contact us at info@jumpto365.com for licensing terms.
